Abstract Simulation studies can be used to determine the fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions of city buses. The operating conditions such vehicles are characterised by a very high variability vehicle speed due large number stops along route bus. During testing, driving cycles replicate real-world achieve repeatable test conditions.
